Hello Erick i hope you’re fine. I just saw your comment about Checking serial number. I also need to know about my Taurus pt24/7 .45, can i post my serial number and you check for me please, Thank you Serial number is NYJ38
Not to steal Erick's thunder (he is the identification guru on this site) but the serial number chart appears in several places here on TA.net.

N=.45
Y=2005
J=October

Link to one of the many postings of the chart:

This chart is good for older model semi-autos (maybe 2020 and before). You used to be able to go to the Taurus web site and enter your serial number, get a born on date as well as the manufacturers model number and description. When they moved to GA, they "lost" all the records and also changed their serial number scheme. Another win for customer service!

Late here need some help. .357 mag m66 7shot IMxxxxxx. Any help? Guys says it was made and bought 10 years ago but that chart on this threat reads 2019m
He spoke the truth.
Your IMxxxxxx was made January 2015
For revolvers.
In 2007 the alpha prefix restarted at "A" (for year) -again since 1981 - (26 yrs later), and month January started with "M" instead of ("A" used in 1981), "N" for February, and so on.
I= 2015
M= January

I have a .32 caliber with 701276 stamped on the frame. Is that the serial number and if so can you tell me anything about it? My stepdad left it to me after he passed away.
Our resident Brazilian expert will assist you with your serial number. It’s an oldie, probably from the 70s or early 80s.

It's the new date code adopted from October, 2019.
Two first letters are the year, starting with AA in 2019. AD means 2022.

Third letter is the month (from A to L). J means October.
Wow. I've got two Taurus revolvers made in July 2026! They are both AHG S/Ns.
