Hello all,
I bought a GX4 last month and I took it to the range out of the box. Slap my hand, but I did not clean and lube prior. I did have jams right out of the bat and FTF. In retrospect, I attributed to limp wristing and not use to micro 9's.
Fast forward to yesterday... I did clean and lube prior to the range redo, I also tightened my grip to eliminate limp wristing. However, my issues remained. I did notice more jams and FTF with Sig Sauer 9mm ammo than the Blazer ammo. I was disheartened with my GX4. The most rounds I was able to get through with no issues was 40. Next time I go, I will run only Blazer, clean prior, and see what I notice since I will be alone next time I go the range. I had a buddy with me who brought his 2 year old, never fired EC9, never cleaned and it ran no issues. I also had my just bought Saturday Glock 17 Gen 3 and that ran 3 ammo types out of the box, with no issues.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I want to love this GX4, but.....
