Compared to the Glocks, the Taurus G3 has much superior ergonomics in my hand for sure. I have a Gen 4 Glock 22 which has been an excellent pistol except that it tends to shoot to the left a bit. The beauty of the Glocks is the variety of spare parts and aftermarket accessories. I carry my Glock as part of a Church Protection/Rapid Response Team where I am a Team Leader. Originally, we had Security Teams (I'm still a Licensed Security Officer) and the head of training and logistics wanted everyone on 9mm Glocks (if possible) rather than the various calibers and pistol makes we all were carrying. A lot of the guys switched to the Taurus G3 and do very well with the platform; some carry G3cs and do very well on range quals with them. We have to supply our own gear, and the Glocks were cost prohibitive, except under the Blue Gun First Responders Program. As Licensed Security Officers, we qualified. I just dropped a 9mm barrel in my G22 and bought some spare magazines. Same gun, sights, trigger, etc. It works great! I still love how the Taurus feels in my hand. It points naturally and is accurate with most ammo brands. Keep it clean and properly lubed and it will run smoothly.
