Do all the Taurus model 84's have the "Falcon" on the side of the gun and on the hand grips? Thanks!! :)

No, only the ones made by Taurus, imported by Spesco, and sold under the "Falcon" brand.
I have one my dad bought from K-Mart in 1969 (give or take a year). Mine's blued with plastic woodgrain grips, some were nickel with pearl grips, some had wood. All of them were 4".

Here's a pic of mine alongside my Colt Peacemaker .22/.22WMR...

Thanks DoctorDeere for the good info, and nice looking guns you have. I was looking at a model 84 in a pawn shop, but it different have the Falcon name on it. I was under the assumption that all model 84's were Falcons. Thanks so much for the help.. ;)

Falcon was a rebrand. Years ago I had a Falcon .25 ACP, it was also imported by Spesco (based in Atlanta, GA.), and was a rebranded inexpensive West German .25ACP. Not all Falcons were made by Taurus, not all M84s were branded Falcon. On a positive note, good used parts are pretty easy to find for the M84 & its rebrands. The exception is parts for the adjustable rear sight... they're hard to come by. What's the price your pawn shop is asking for the Falcon?

Wait a moment, DrDeer... are these cigars you use to present the guns? I used to smoke cigars for maybe 2 years but got back to my pipes again.

Yes sir, those are cigars.
My dad was a pipe smoker too. I tried for years but could never get the trick to keeping one lit. Cigars stay lit, so here I am...

Nice. Mid to late 70's (later model cylinder and hammer). That big ol' rubber grip is covering up the logo on the side cover. Hope you still have the original walnut grips?

I don't have the original grips. The big grips were installed over 30 (probably longer) years ago by a prior owner. The friend I got in trade from bought it from his son about 30 years ago and I have no idea where he got it. Serial number is 1558***.

FYI: Please be aware that there was an importer recall on the early Taurus revolvers, circa 1977. There was a timing issue with the fitting of the hammer block safety parts. Note that Taurus soon switched to a different hammer block safety design and also started transitioning to a frame-mounted firing pin.
