I use AlienGear cloak tuck 2 that's made for it. Very comfortable and they will have specials for two so you can get IWB and OWB for it. I also have a desanits pocket sticky holster. You can also check amazon for a medium size deep concealment "crotch" style holster to wear with basketball shorts (or clothes that don't have belts).

Curious is anyone is using the Fobus IWBM Holster with their PT111 G2 ??

I bought the Fobus SP-11 paddle kydex holster for mine. It is actually made for the XD and some others, but my G2 clips in there just fine. The holster is just a little long, think it was made for a 4" barrel, but still is a solid hold...I like outside the waist band carry most, and the paddle holsters are rock solid.

How do you want to carry? I've got my 709 three weeks and have purchased three holsters specifically listed for it. The first, a Tagua black leather pancake, at the store when I purchased the gun - Hyatt Guns Charlotte, NC, and two on line, both pocket holsters, which I prefer. . One is a DeSantis Super Fly Mod. M44BJEE1Z0 synthetic materials pocket holster. It has an embossed finish that grabs and sticks to your pocket like fly paper (Hence the name). The other, my favorite, is the one that's holding the pistol in the right front pocket of my 505 Levis as I sit in front of the computer typing this. It's a leather Galco Pocket Protector ModG139L PRO632. And holds 709 so comfortably, that I forget that I'm wearing it. This should get you started.

Excellent IWB Holster

Now that the 709 has been on the market long enough, more holster companies are including the 709 holster for sale.

I use my 709 as my EDC. AFTER 2 YEARS OF SEARCHING FOR A IWB holster for concealment, I have came to rest on the Gunner's Custom Holster. All kydex with one steel belt clip.

My 1st holster was a nylon IWB. Not a bad holster but the mouth collapsed after drawing gun which created challenging reholstering.

2nd holster was leather with a reinforced mouth to prevent collapsing. The reinforced mouth did not prevent the holster from collapsing.

3rd holster was the Alien Gear hybrid leather kydex. It is a Very good holster but I soon grew tired of wrestling with putting the 2 clip holster on & off.

I decided to try this all kydex holster with 1 clip from Gunner's Holsters. I do not wear an undershirt in the hot Texas summers. Kydex against the skin is not very comfortable so I glued a layer of felt & moleskin on the inside of the holster. That did the trick & I have been wearing this holster for 3 months. Easy on/easy off, comfortable, easy reholstering as the mold is perfect for my 709. I actually here and feel the snap when holstering the 709.

These holsters also come with the wide hard plastic clip. The cost is $45 with free & quick shipping.

I am not associated with this company in any way other than being a satisfied customer.

So for my PT145, I have a Foxx holster. I just got a 709 slim and added a CT laser. I was looking for a holster to accommodate the laser addition and most were the higher priced options. So I just checked the FOXX holsters website and they have one starting at $39 which will work with the CT Laser! Just ordered it, so I'll have to get back with you on the fit and comfort. These are supertuck styled hosters.

Update: Works really well. Paid the extra $12 for the comfort lining to be stitched in place. Worth the extra.

Clinger IWB Non Tuckable that I like. Galco Ankle is nice. I have a ConcealedConcept IWB Tuckable 2 Clip Hybrid(Kydex/Leather) that just seems like a lot of leather. It is stiff and maybe overkill for the size of the 709. Thinking I might have like Gunners IWB single Clip Hybrid better. I have it for the TCP.

Can't remember if I posted this holster or not. Made by Lobo Gun Leather. I have several of Lobo's holsters. I have the first holster he made for a Taurus 709. I have been wearing it for a year, (off and on).

EXTRA (Lobo Gun Leather has been in business for over 40 years. He recently sold his business, (Retired) to another maker. They are using the same name.)

Have a look.....

This is the only option the gun store had in stock at the time.
We used the steamer on it and it molded to the gun pretty well. The more I use it the better the gun fits.
And the more comfortable it gets. I like it much better than I thought I would.

I also have an OC option around the house. It was made for a pellet gun of about the same size.

I have another IWB option on order. It is molded leather, I will post pics and a review once I get it.

Just picked up a Galco paddle lite for my 709. Says it fits the xds and 709. Fit is perfect and sits close to the body for a paddle. It's thin suede so not easy to re holster but it's very light weight and comfortable against the skin.

I've owned a few for my 709 slim including a Desanti that I've had for the last 3 years. I finally broke down and bought a Crossbreed Minituck in horsehide this year. I don't think I'll ever own another CC holster. I carry at 5 o'clock and honestly forget that I'm wearing it sometimes.

I have a Sof-Tuck like pictured in some of the other posts but haven't carried with it. So far I prefer the $15 IWB/OWB (I carry IWB) I got on ebay. Have one for the 709 and the G2. I carry up front so like having a strap.

I am extremely happy with my IWB, Kydex, from Foxtrot concealment. And, you sure can't beat the price at $20... I have one of his holsters for almost every gun I own. Excellent quality and function, extremely fast shipping, works with your wants, and VERY good pricing!
