Turns out that with a little work and two extra parts, you can put a gen 5 slide on a Dagger frame.

And functionality is 100% including last round hold open.

The only extra parts you will need is a gen 1-3 guide rod assembly with an adapter. You must use the gen 3 because the gen 4-5 is too wide for the gen 3 frame.

Now for the ugly. The Dagger frame is too narrow at the front (about 15.11mm) and is requires at least 18.25mm. Plus you need to add a channel in the center of the fame back to the locking block. If not, the frame will have a slight drag. It's not pretty, it just works. I'll see if I can clean it up.

I made an outline of what I need to remove. The dremel worked great and got away from me as you can see. Either way, I'm very happy with it. Now I just need some 15 round mags.

That's cool, but...Why? I mean, is a genuine Glock slide so much better than that of a PSA Dagger that it's worth the effort? After all, the PSA Dagger is already a Glock Clone, so it seems like a strange modification to me when one could simply stick with an unmodified PSA Dagger or otherwise purchase an 80% Glock Lower of a similar design which requires less work.
The Dagger frame was on sale for $49.99. Originally I thought to just buy a gen 5 19 frame. The cost of $200++ kept me away. The work took less than 15 minutes and I enjoy modifying/ gunsmithing when ever I have the chance. I could have just bought the Glock 49 however my Lonewolf threaded barrel is longer than the 49/17 barrel. Anyway, it was a fun little project.
