G3C magazine fill problem

Six months or so down the road and I still can't get a full load in my .40 S&W magazines. It looks like nine rounds is all they'll take. The mags have been loaded to capacity the whole time but the springs are still as strong as when first loaded. Thinking about sending an inquiry to Taurus about this...

response to @Doobie, I had the magazines loaded as much as I could force into them-9 rounds. I don't think I'll invest in one of those Uplula speed loaders-just more money down the tube when I might be able to get Taurus to replace them.@V35A, I've seen those Uplulas and as I recall they were around $25.00.

This is the first gun that I can recall that wouldn't take the stated number of rounds stamped on the mag. Now I have an .30SC S&W Shield EZ that I bought at a recent show and it does the same thing. Checked in with the S&W auto pistol forum and sure enough this is a known problem with this gun. Nine rounds is all you can squeeze into its ten round magazine. Posts from members cite issues with the magazine spring and internal magazine components. Easy DIY fix supposedly but I probably will get by with nine rounds for now. Update 11/4: I added a Shield Plus .30SC to go along with the Shield EZ and it has the same problem filling the magazine. This gun had to be sent back to S&W when the sear Disconnect Lever would not retract up allowing magazine insertion. And the recoil spring assembly dislodged from the barrel lug preventing slide removal. S&W fixed things in 30 days and I am living with the magazine capacity glitch. .30SC is becoming a thing to me.

I believe there is a design change somewhere here-both Taurus and S/W mags with the same issue? Never had this problem with past guns (they were metal frames) I might pop for a Ruger LCP or the like just for comparison.
