It's kinda a long story but I ended up with a TX22 without a manual safety when I wanted one with a safety. I know this comes equipped both with and without one. I contacted Taurus and after two weeks, got an email back telling me they cannot add one if sent to them and to basically kick rocks. Taurus doesn't seem to be like glock or sig where you can find an abundance of parts to modify you firearm. Any ideas or suggestions on where I can go from here??

Seriously, does your TX22 have all the holes, grooves, notches, and/or spaces for a safety? Keep an eye on GunBroker for a TX22 "parts gun". I don't follow the TX22, so I don't know how often (if ever) they show up, but if you can find one at a reasonable price, you may be able to harvest the parts you need.

You would have to dremel the frame for the ambi safety levers. Not worth the hassle or risk of screwing it up. Sell it and get the one you want, make sure you order the right one this time, or arrange a trade with Jester560.
