Hello all. A couple months ago I purchased a Tracker 692 6.5” and wow I am having a blast with it - swapping cylinders back and forth and shooting .357 and 9 - I am just very pleased with this revolver.
So . . . I liked it so much I decided I wanted the 3 in version. Got it in the other day and shot it right away.
With 9mm and moon clips it locked up. Tried without moon clips - same thing. With 357 and .38 it shoots fine.
So I looked more closely at the 9mm cylinder and I see that at least two of the cylinder bores might be cut wrong - the 9mm rounds will not go into the cylinder as far as the other 5, with normal pressure. You can see at least one round is seated higher than the others.
That’s as far as I got today- I was wondering what suggestions might be out there, like maybe it’s debris or a burr? Should I just get an RMA and let Taurus look at it?
I do like the pistol and it handles well with .357. Thanks!
