Purchased a drum (GSG), want to use an adapter to convert it for my TX22.
Understand that I need a sacrificial mag for the conversion. My question is, will a 10 rounder work? It appears that 10 round mag merely has a shortened slot that prevents the follower from going all the way to the bottom of the housing.
If this is correct, would I be able to remove the pin from the follower and use a 10 rounder for the conversion?
Not interested in hearing opinions on the function of this conversion or from "experts" who want to lecture on why drum mags are a bad idea. Looking for technical information from someone who can give me an answer to a specific question.
