Friend;
Do you have a 4" 44 Mag. Stainless Tracker by any chance? Well, the cylinder clearly locks into the frame at the rear via the cylinder pin. Here's the question: does the cylinder yoke (crane) lock into the FRONT of the frame via the spring-loaded ejection rod (as I understood it did) or is there a ball/detent built into the yoke/frame by the barrel forcing cone (throat)? I was examining a 6" .45 Colt tracker yesterday and it only had the ball/detent lockup as did a Judge I looked at!!!

The .44 Mag Tracker locks up the same as the Judge you saw.

Guys;
And I looked at the parts diagram and it reenforces what u are saying. Damned if I didn't read an article about two months ago that recommended have a ball/detent yoke lockup added as the ejector-rod lockup on the 44 Tracker was too weak all by itself!
