I had to laugh at myself a little just now...

I kept looking at the OP and this thread wondering when someone would note that the OP said nothing about the "Xams" (which I read as "exams") in the body of their post.

It just dawned on me that it was a just typo and I had been misreading it all along.

Very nice - especially the revolver.
I wish my family would just give cash like yours - or pre-paid Visa cards.
I got $125 worth of gift cards for Sportsman's Warehouse, and a set of earmuffs with built in radio/bluetooth/MP3, and a 1200 watt heat gun from family members this year.
Trouble is Sportsman's Warehouse is about the most expensive place in the area for guns, reloading supplies, or anything else in their limited inventory, I already have a set of noise-cancelling earmuffs, and a 1500 watt heat gun. I still appreciate the thought, and its the thought that counts, right?
The ear muffs and heat gun both got returned for cash. I'm watching Sportsman's Warehouse for some kind of sale on something I need to use the gift cards. Not to sound ungrateful, but pre-paid Visa gift cards would be much simpler all around.

Nice gifts. We had a pretty good gun Christmas too. We got my dad a new range bag and a leather pancake holster for his 1911. They got me a collapsible stock for my shotgun. I got a concealed carry magazine from my oldest daughter (bought with her own money). My wife got me my standard Gun Digest and range membership. And the best of all, my relatively anti gun aunt bought me an 80% AR lower since I told her it wasn't a gun.
