I have the exact same model and am very happy with it. It's accurate and shoots close to POA, a little bit left of center (3-4 inches at 50ft) and just right elevation (using a 6 o'clock hold) with standard velocity 250g fodder. I load my own, in fact have never shot a factory round through it. 7.5-8gr of Unique is what I shoot the most. Recoil is very manageable with such a load, in fact it's very fun to shoot. It is slimmer and lighter than the Old Model Vaquero, and I find the Gaucho more comfortable in my hand than the OM Vaquero.
It's a beautiful revolver, some of the best case hardening I've seen on a modern gun. I don't think you'll be sorry unless you don't reload - the cost of factory .45LC is just plain ridiculous. That's one caliber that will pay itself real quickly if you want to get set up for reloading.
