Ammo is no problem, I have some.
I just don't like the M203 launchers. I vastly prefer the M79s.

Nope , problem getting ammo first off . Other is no place to go shoot it around here and don’t want LEOs’ crawling all over my place .

In the bargain bin it was probably a good deal !

Wait, so was it a real Grenade Launcher or not? The article starts with a photo identifying it as an airsoft, but then proceeds to act as though it was real, so which is it exactly? Or was the GL merely an airsoft but the loaded Grenade live?

At any rate, regardless of whether or not it was real, I still wouldn't buy it. I'd have no use for an airsoft nor an illegal unregistered destructive device.

Yes it was real. As in they could hold it, poke it, fondle any way they pleased. However, it seems, it was an airsoft toy grenade launcher.

Airsoft............the weapon of choice for drug lords everywhere.
Sure doesn't take much to scare stupid people.

Airsoft is legal.

That's one of those items you just never want found in your possession. Might as well have several kilos of cocaine while you're at it as it is a "Do not pass Go" card if ever there was one. While the cool factor is high, the risk factor is far higher and I'd want no part of it. Reminds me of the story my father tells of being one of the officers sent to an elderly womans house as she had called the police station stating her husband had recently died and he had a collection of firearms she wanted removed. When he got there the place was filled with guns from WWII, as well as grenades and a bazooka complete with rockets. They cleared the house of people and called in the bomb squad as they wanted no part in handling explosives, especially ones decades old.

wasn't there a way of converting them to 37mm where they were legal to own (providing it was a real M203 and not an airsoft lookalike)?
