Wish me luck/Finished the upgrades

FINISHED THE UPGRADES SEE POST #15

I've been thinking about doing a semi custom upgrade build to my Ruger 10/22.

Well I've finally started to gather up the parts. First things ordered are my new BX trigger and a 20" Green Mountain bull barrel.

I'll get some pictures of the upgrade/build up once I get started on the project.

What stock are you thinking about? Pretty sure the new bull bbl will require something special...

Green Mountain Barrels make some super high-quality stuff. Here's my 10-22 with the weighted 20", fluted bull barrel:

Well, you can make what you want out of a 10/22. Mine's fine as is. I put a 1.5x4.5 Bushnell on it, a Hogue overmolded stock, and a Volquartsen sear in it and I'm done, my perfect 10/22.

I like the stock barrel profile and it shoots one hole groups at 25 yards, why "improve" that?

All are AWESOME Ideas for a 10 22 build....I do this I call them Garage Sales Sporters I picked it up had a plain cut down military stock.

Well I finally finished my Ruger 10/22 upgrade.

Here's what's been done:

Green Mountain SS Bull Barrel
Ruger BX Trigger
Archangel Precision Stock
Pride Fowler RR-Evolution-22lr 3-12X42 FFP Scope
Cheep bi-pod

I’ve got 2 10/22s that I bought for plinking and find they plink fine in stock configuration.

I'm going to enter competitions against myself.

I just want something I can use to challenge myself without costing me too much.

Crap! If I have to come up with a good reason for buying, our accessorising a gun then I'll need to get rid of 90% of mine. "Because I thought it would be worth trying it out", has been my stock excuse.
