I just sent off my first return to Taurus. UPS is now in charge of my 247 PRO45 paper punch, insured for $500 at a cost of $16.

Good luck! Keep the tracking number close by. I have not had the best luck with UPS.
We will keep our fingers and toes crossed for ya! What are you gonna pack in the meantime?
Good luck. I would give them several weeks to fix before calling. Calling every other day could get the paperwork pushed to the bottom of the pile. I'm not saying they do this but it does happen sometimes. They will get to it seems like turnaround is like 6 weeks, give or take. Have some patience. ;)
I was at a dealer two days ago to pick up a few odds/ends and to see if they had any new 'used' guns. Their prices, so far, haven't been exemplary and I haven't bought a firearm from them but they are on the way home and I stop occasionally. The guy behind the counter was telling a customer in there how Taurus was known for 'bad service' and he had thought about dropping Taurus guns from his line up (needless to say that they did not have one Taurus gun anyhow). I spoke up and said how great my three were and that I am in the market for a few more and left it at that. I guess my point is that some people have bad luck with any customer service; I have had Sprint service since my first cell phone and I like it but I can't tell you how irritated I get if I have to deal with their CS. There are several people on here who say they have had a great experience with CS and I hope your experience goes as well as theirs did.

I still have my first auto, a Hi-Point 45.

If anybody knows how to make it feel a lot less like holding the wrong end of a baseball bat, let me know! I've tried to find something black to manufacture some thinner replacement grips with, but no luck. With only a single screw holding a grip it needs to be pretty stiff stuff. All I know of like that is Delrin - very expensive.

I had to send my 24/7 9mm off to Taurus after only 50 rounds. Anyway, after a couple of weeks I received a letter from them stating that they had received my 'merchandise' and that they would have it repaired and returned to me in 4 or 5 weeks.

The good news is that I have put 2,000 + rounds through it since I got it back without one hiccup. Looking back, it was worth the wait. ;)
