Yes, it's mostly boring, pouring over someone else junk. But every now and then you find a truffle. The three pictures below are my garage sale finds this morning, all in one place packed in four different boxes. I ask what he would take for all four boxes, we came to an agreement and I brought them home.

75 pounds of lead, pounds of Unique, and a boatload of projectiles, just to name a few of your goodies. Well Done!
Actually the folgers can has 25 pounds of lead in it also, the bag was rotted and tore as I tried to pick it up.

OK! Just less than 25 pounds ... I didn't get on my hands and knees and chase the little buggers. :D

I prefer "affliction", disease sounds like something you picked up in a house of ill repute. :D

Yeah but — is the powder dry?!?! :)
Yeah, well?

The Unique and Trap have seals intact, the 452AA (?) the caps were tight, but, didn't they have a metal seal under the cap? It didn't give off any peculiar odor, but, I told them I wouldn't buy the 452AA and that they should use it as fertilizer for the yard. They threw it in the box, gratis, so that's a wash.

Bellows1: "Nice score on that trip. Sadly your next ten years of yard saleing will be snow globes, toasters and womens shoes."

Ok, I'm getting ready to hand in my "Man" card.

But spending time with the wife is gratification enough. Of all the things I could have chosen, I chose her. At times it feels like yesterday, at other times it seems like forever, but it will never be time enough.

I'm a fool for her stockings
