I am looking at picking up a PT-909 to add to my little PT 900 series collection. However since it is a discontinued pistol it is not like I can run out and feel one in my hands. I am trying to figure out if it is the same size grip as on a P-58 Taurus, or closer to the PT-92,96,100,101 grip and lower frame. Are there any grip replacements that can be purchased or is it like some of the other PT 900 series? Kind of a good luck with that plan?
I have a P-58 with wood grips that I love the grips, it would be nice if they would fit the PT-909. Or if the PT-92 grips would fit that woudl feel good also.

The grips for the 92 with decocker notches should fit all the 900 series pistols.

They don't. Screw holes are off on some. Length is different as is curvature on some models. It can be enough to drive a non Taurus person crazy in some cases.

The PT909's Grip Frame was derived from the PT92. Grips should be the same between them.

The PT909's Slide assembly is roughly the same as that of the PT908/911/915.

Magazines between the PT92 and PT909 do not interchange as the PT909's Magazines are slightly taller, or so I've been told. Wish they did interchange!

Almost bought a PT909 but bought a 24/7 Pro instead. Very happy with my 24/7 Pro!
