I am somewhat new to this forum, having only joined a couple weeks ago.
I am also somewhat of a newer Taurus owner. I purchased my first Taurus handgun around 3 months ago.
What I really wanted was the PT111 Millennium G2, but there wasn't a single local store that carried it,
so I ended up getting the 709FS Slim 9mm. After owning it for about 2 months, I traded it for a PT140
Pro Dual Tone.
My question is, are there any web sites where I can order just a single PT140 Pro slide? I want to purchase
the blue slide and see how it looks on my gun, and I think it would be really cool to be able to alternate
slides from stainless/dual tone to the blue slide.
Also, I am curious about ordering a PT140 Pro frame without the slide. I am only interested in purchasing
a tan frame or possibly an OD green frame, or something of that sort; not a black frame, since I already
have that.
I have tried searching online for "taurus pt140 pro slide for sale" and haven't found anything.
I am going to call Taurus tomorrow and ask about ordering an individual slide and/or colored frame.
Thank you all for your responses in advance. Oh, and does anyone have any experience with the williams
night sights that are advertised for around $30 for the PT140 pro? I believe the front is green, and back
are red, or reversed.
