The 24/7 G2 costs $200 more than the PT111 G2.

So, where was that extra 200 spent on the gun?
Does the 24/7 or PT111 have the better trigger?

Specs of each gun are below:

These weapons appear, to me, to be alternatives to the categorical models that Glock and others compete in. The obvious
differences in weight, magazine capacity, barrel and pistol length hint at market differentiation.

It appears to me that the PT111 G2 falls into the sub-compact category similar to Glocks 26/27 (9MM & .40 caliber) while
the 24/7 is more in line with the Compact category of the Glock pistols.

If the dollar differences truly existed, then the PT111 G2 appears to be the better value. If the 24/7 is heavily discounted then it might be a toss up
of which gun is a better deal. The additional rounds and heft of the 24/7 certainly has a lot going for it.

The PT111 G2 is shorter and thinner, grip is much more slim in the hand. 24/7 G2 has ambi controls. PT111 G2 is quite a bit lighter. Triggers are COMPLETELY different. PT111 G2 has a single action only trigger (with double strike capability) while the 24/7 G2 has a DA/SA trigger. I like the PT111 G2 trigger much more, it is much lighter (5lbs) and smoother, some people get good 24/7 triggers, I didnt, and it seems a lot of them end up being pretty heavy like mine was (9lbs SA, 10lb+ DA though I guess some have 5lb 24/7 g2 triggers)
IMO the PT111 G2 is a much better conceal carry gun. The grip is leagues better in traction and fitment to my hand.
They are both good guns.
In real life the PT111 G2 will run you $330-360 depending where you get it, while the 24/7 G2C will run $380-420 so the price difference isnt all that much. You cant go wrong with either. I do prefer my PT111 G2 for carry though.

That trigger difference you point out is significant. I can see where the added capacity of the 24/7 would be appealing, especially if you are going on a journey.

I really like the 111 G2, but I came home with the 24/7 G2C. It fits my hand a little better, I like the DA/SA trigger, and love that it will accept the 17rd mags. Either is a good choice, I just got the one that felt better.

Good to know, I had picked up the 111 g2 for concealed carry (whenever I get my license) and was second guessing not having picked up the 24/7 g2 instead. I was more so concerned that the 24/7 had a better trigger and was more accurate than the 111.

The pt111 g2 also will take the 17rd mags.

Man, Taurus needs to do a better job in getting this type of information out!
Knowing this would certainly influence some of us in our next purchase.
