It took about 6 weeks for mine also to come back into my hands from Taurus. Warranties are great.

GerbilWarrior is correct. I had the same problem with mine also. I thought there was a issue since the gun was jamming and it was way left and low. I had to change ammo a few times but I finally found the one that my gun liked. I was using the white box stuff, now I'm at wolf and heading to loading rounds myself. (I'm still not happy and don't feel like paying out the a** for good ammo)

I agree that the ammo may be the issue, but the manual safety doesn't work 100% of the time. To me this is a major flaw and it needs repaired. Yesterday I shot a few rounds through my pistol and clicked my safety "on." I then pointed my gun down range, pulled the trigger and bam! I did this multiple times!

I would sent it back for that definatley!
