I'll clarify by saying if it were up to you, what type of revolver would you like to see
Taurus manufacture? This would be open to any caliber, barrel length, type of sights (color and/or configuration) finish, grips, fluted/unfluted cylinder etc... and can include any discontinued models.

Personally, I'd like to see a .32 H&R Magnum, 8 shot with an unfluted cylinder in SS with your choice of
4", 6" and 8" barrels. ;D

Ok Taurus USA. Bring back the 441 with a 4 or 5 inch barrel in .44 Special. In SS as well. That would go with the 2.5 in.barreled 425s that need to be bought back as well.

+1 taurus_9mm on the .32 H+R, with adj. sights of course. Awsome small game gun.

+1 Quiks draw's requests, I need a snubbie.

I wish they'd make a .44 Tracker without those gosh-darn ports.

Another one I'd have to have is a 4" model 605 with adjustable sights - no ports.

A medium frame big bore (44 spec, 45acp, 45 colt) Protector/CIA (internal or shrouded hammer) medium frame snubbie. And lightweight versions would be swell. But NO PORTING as these would be large pocket guns. Oh, and a shorter than normal grip but with the option to use the normal size grips.
Wouldn't one of these be great in the outer pocket of your winter coat?

This might be what Antibubba was asking for, I'm not sure.

Eprn, Welcome to the forum. Your bright and intelligent. :) Taurus revolvers can do without the ports and the revolvers they made in those calibers need to come back into production. Either that or new, improved models. For the more powerful than the .44 magnum crowd ports do make some sense.Eprn. Please go to the Member Introduction board and introduce yourself to us all.

I'd like to see some of their SA revolvers offered in some of the more "traditional" calibers, .44-40, 38-40, and so on. I'd also like to see them make a copy of the S&W SA old west revolvers.

In fact, I'd like to see ANYONE make a replica Merwin, Hulbert & Co. revolver. THAT would be something to see!!

But maybe that's just me? ;)

Perhaps a five shot 10mm using moon clips on the medium frame in titanium. I'd like a 2" and a 4" version, maybe even a 6" version with provisions for optics. It could shoot .40 for cheap thrills for the non- reloader or heavy 10mm loads for outdoor uses and hunting. It'd be light and easy for the back packer or hunter to carry and the 2" would make for a nifty CCW piece. The moon clips should be made pretty stout, though, not flimsy like I've heard the 9mm ones were.

I mean, nothing wrong with the .41 mag tracker I guess, but I think a little smaller framed 10 would be better for CCW using moon clips for reloading. I don't know, the medium frame might well be strong enough to build a 6 shooter, just said five shots thinking maybe not. Emphasis should be on light and carryable.

As much as I like the 44 and 45 cartridges. The .40S&W might be the way to go. Since the 5 shot snubbies in those calibers were discontinued there is no reason that it could not be done to put the 40 in a smaller package than the others.

NT, I like that idea. I don't see why (from a design perspective) why Taurus couldn't make a 10mm Tracker. I think 10mm is fairly close to 41 mag and Taurus has a 44 mag on the Tracker frame so I'm sure it's possible.

Please add 10mm to my list of calibers I'd like a snubby revolver with a covered hammer in.

Al Lowe- right on man-
Gauchos with birdshead grips and sheriffs model barrels. How about a 38-40 and 40 s/w cylinder set on a sa? Maybe a 9mm set up on a Gaucho. Or 22's like the Ruger single sixes.
I would love to have a 38-40 to match my original Winchester Model 1873.

OK, so I am echoing (rehashing?) some previous ideas here, at least in part, but how about ...

(1) A medium frame target revolver (since nobody really makes one anymore) - I'm thinking similar in size to the current 7-shot 627, except with a full-size grip (not the Ribber), interchangeable front sights, in .32 H&R, .38, .357. Barrel lengths: 6" full-lug and 8-8.5" non-full-lug (is that called half-lug, semi-lug, ?). And NO porting.

(2) A Gaucho "flat top" target - At one time, Colt made one like this. It had an interchangeable front sight and a drift adjustable rear. Since I am one of those guys whose eyes aren't getting any better, the tiny notch on the standard SAA-types is just not cutting it. Plus the drift adjustable rear would help regulate the sights to your favorite load. I like brushed stainless, but I could go with blue or color-case as well. 7.5" barrel in .357 or .45 Colt, because ...

(3) I also want 9mm and .45 Auto conversion cylinders for the above.

Hey, I can dream ...
