I'm thinking of buying some electronic ear muffs and would like your opinions on what brand is worth the money. I want to use them both at the range and in the duck blind. It gets loud when your buddy is shooting 3 1/2" BB at geese right next to you. Thanks in advance.

Mine are Caldwell. They work great, and have held up well.

Mine are 3M Peltor.

Amazon.com: Peltor M2RX7A Alert AM/FM Radio Headset: Explore similar items

They're not shooting specific, but I wanted a pair that had an AM/FM radio too, so I could use them for mowing the grass also. I've had mine for over a year now, and I love them. They aren't quite as low profile as some of the shooting specific ones, but they work great and are really easy on batteries. I use them at least 2 hours (often more like 4-6 hours, every week for mowing/trimming/when a separate radio would be a pain) and every time I go to the range... I'm only on my 2nd set of batteries. What's really cool is that you can run the radio and "ambient sounds" at the same time and adjust each volume separately. Or you can turn one or both features off completely. My wife got them for me, and I couldn't be happier.
