Not sure if this is correct forum to post this question in. I posted it at the end of a longer thread of mine, but it might not be noticed there.

I Picked up my 605 Protector Poly yesterday at a FedEx shipping center.

Here are the 3 items listed on the warranty repair letter enclosed with the handgun:

Under "Point of Failure" "Area of Concern" "Diagnostic Code" and "Closed", the following 3 items were noted:

Function, Cylinder Headspace, Undersized, Adjusted
Function, Barrel Forcing Cone, Undersized, Adjusted
Function, Cylinder Chamber, Undersized, CID

I tried googling "CID" and really couldn't quite determine its meaning in this context.

Anyone know what "CID" means in terms of a gun repair?

Cubic Inch Displacement ??
Silly girl! That's for a car engine! :D

On a more serious note: I wish I knew what those letters stood for.

More than likely they honed them.

I'm SWAG'ing "Change Inside Diameter".

EDIT: BigSkiff got the correct "C" word in #3 I believe.

That also sounds logical. Well, whatever they did, they indeed corrected the internal diameter.
The repair slip did say "Undersized."
