I don't know if everyone knows, but in April 2022 I interviewed the CEO of Taurus.
And he said in the interview (just enable the translated subtitles) that the TH10 would be released between October and December 2022
And even with the Shot Show, we didn't have the launch of the 10mm pistol.
I suggest that we fill the company's email box with this request.
[email protected]
a polite email, but with a clear message.

PS: This channel is demonetized, so I don't gain anything from sharing my videos here.

If you would like to have this beauty with 15+1 capacity of a very strong caliber, for around 300$, do your part

I'm thinking if Taurus had everything ironed out for this pistol it would be available now. When and if it's ever ready I'm sure they will be distributing it. They are in business to make money ...

But, If it's not ready, say they discovered mechanical, manufacturing or some other problem or issue, I think holding it back is the right thing to do. Filling their mailbox won't change doing the right thing.

Many products are developed at the same time, however if the public pushes more for a product, developers abandon other projects and focus on what the public asks for.
I had it there at the factory and I know what I'm talking about.

They need 45’a too. TH45 and compact. G3, and the G3c or G2c.
Is the 45 a good caliber? Yes definitely!
Does the 45 have a good sales number? Not!
It has a reasonably number of sales in the North American market, and that's it.
Here in Brazil, only the oldest shooters still use the 45.

Did they come out with anything "new" at the Shot show that may have taken time away from a 10mm? I think they have a new executive Judge. Is that what they concentrated on in the last engineering cycle?

Let's look at the global context ok?
30% of Taurus sales were made here in Brazil.
After these stolen elections here in Brazil, as was the election of Biden there in the United States.
The fake "President" has canceled all sales of new weapons here.
Does it undermine the morale of a factory? Obviously.
But if the American public vehemently asks for a TH10, it will be done. After all, who moves the market is the consumer.

If they did 10mm, I'd want it to be a 1911. Anything else, I'd pass.
It sounds very strange to me, seeing an American speak in 1911 10mm.
Everyone knows the 1911 doesn't ride as well as anything above 45 ACP.
If the famous Colt Delta Elite broke in the frame.
Why would Taurus want to go down a dark path?
And this topic is not for discussing whether this or that model is good or not.
It's just to get more supporters to push the company to produce the TH10

Did you have a preproduction example or a prototype? There is a lot more money and time involved with turning a prototype into a production item. Remember that 10mm has to be a large frame gun so you aren't just respringing and rechambering a .40. Even though it maybe a modification of an existing design most parts will likely need to be modified. All of these newly modified parts will need manufacturing molds, jigs and fixtures designed and manufactured. Plus if any of this stuff is subcontracted there will be some type of lead time for the subcontractor as well. I think consumers don't understand the amount of time and money required to release a new product.

The delta elites beat themselves to death because they weren't sprung correctly from the factory. Currently the majority of 10mm's available are 1911's.

In fact, the TH10 will use the PT845 as a base.
It will probably have a structural reinforcement, but the base of the project is the 845, which is slightly larger than the TH40.

In my humble opinion, the 1911s are great pistols, but totally outdated.
They're good for showing off to friends at the shooting club. But virtually impossible to carry daily.

I do own a few 1911s in 10mm, including a Delta Elite. The issues with the Delta Elite were very early on and soon resolved. A few years ago, Colt modernized the Delta Elite for a much less mil-spec appearance. That's what I have. Absolutely zero issues with it or any of my 10mm 1911s. I also have some assorted polymer handguns in 10mm. As I said, it's gotta be 1911 or I'll pass.

And like I said, this thread isn't about picking pistol models, it's just about uniting more consumers willing to push the company for the TH10.

All brands of 1911s are still breaking the lower barrel lug off.
There is less metal in the lower lug area than other designs.
