In the next few days I will be trading my Taurus .41 Tracker for a NIB 24/7 Pro .40. This is through a private party. As long as it's NIB can I send in the warranty card or does the person that I'm buying it from have to do that? Thanks.

With the Lifetime Warranty I don't think it matters. I think some here have said that they didn't get a warranty card with their new gun. I wouldn't worry about it if it was me.

I hope you enjoy the 40. It should be cheaper and more pleasant than the 41, but you might miss it every so often.

Thanks, and you're right, I miss it already and I still have it. I guess that your first carry gun is like your first girl friend, you will never forget her. :)

I never sent in a warranty card and have had mine serviced. I'm with it doesn't matter.

The warranty card may help Customer Service out somewhat, but whom-ever owns the gun is covered by the warranty whether one is sent in or not. Taurus has said so in the past in print in the media though this was awhile back.
