Wanted to share this little jewel!

Once in awhile I happen upon a gun I've forgotten about and have had nothing to do with in a long time. In this particular case, at least 2 years.

I was in a safe searching for a gun I seem to have misplaced (still haven't found it.... I got distracted). It is a SAR 9mm and I know it will show up sooner than later.

The gun I am writing about is a stainless Colt Government Model 380 auto. These little compact .380's were produced by Colt From 1984 through 1999 when Colt stopped production of all their .380's.

If the little Colt was not in such great condition I would probably carry it but the value of them (especially stainless steel) has rocketed up so high I look at it as an investment....

Here are a couple pictures of mine with a comparison photo so you can see the size.

Drool! :drooling::drooling:
Very nice. Not a Mustang, a 1911 Government. No grip safety, what is the difference other than the scroll work?
Handsome little pistola!:thumb:
Beautiful pistol! Just don't let the extractor fall while cleaning...ask
DH & I how we know!
That handsome little feller looks to be in pristine condition.
I'm not sure I could ever live to forget a gun I owned.

There are a couple I wish I could forget I ever owned! :eek::D
What other "hidden treasures" are there in that gun safe of yours?
I suggest a weekend project of doing a clean out and inventory of all the guns in that safe, and any others you may have.
Then photograph and post them here so we can all drool.
Gorgeous, is this model a little larger than the Colts Mustang or Pocketlite?
Wow what a find! If you have any other old hidden in the back guns you don't want let me know! I get why you are keeping it as an investment piece,,The going price on those is surprising , and will only go up from here.
