Truthfully,. based on prices that I have seen conversion kits advertised for, for pistols that I know they are made for...It's probably literally cheaper buy $100
to just but a Taurus that was manufactured in .22lr.
That's even if there is a conversion kit for a 809.
Seems like I remember when they first came out, they were going to offer some kind of conversion kit, but it never panned out. I wouldn't hold my breath.
When they first came out they advertised a .22 conversion, but it was nixed.
