If there is enough interest, I may part-out a nice Starfire 9mm, M-43 I believe. The safety does not work so I had planned to part it out on eBay, but they have banned the sale of such parts.

The weapon is in VG condition and has the "Starvel" finish, which looks like high polish stainless or nickle. I can sell everything but the frame without requiring an FFL. Also has two original issue magazines.

You could try to sell the whole thing on Gunbroker. I'd think as long as you listed the issues (such as the safety) you could sell it. It would have to be shipped to an FFL but its not a big deal. I've sold 2 guns on there without any issues.

I may do exactly that in the near future, even though I'll have to travel outside my one horse town to find an FFL willing to do the shipping.

You don't have to ship from an FFL, just to an FFL. I ship from my local (15 miles or so away) Fed-Ex. UPS also does handgun shipping. But you may have state/local regulations that I'm not aware of.

My first 45 was a Star Megastar - it was freakin' huge !! didn't cycle very well though, only had it about 3 months.......
