I don't believe it. You're hallucinating. Its like being stuck in the desert, no water, no shade. And then, all of a sudden there's clear cool water, and abundant shade.

Check you bags again, you probably bought underwear instead. :D:D:D:D:D

Dont worry the walmart bashers will be here to tell you how you bought factory 2nds and put mom and pop out of bussiness. My local walmart is MUCH better than my local gun store who wants $90.00 a brick for 22lr.
I am for REAL, I sold one box off 22lr 555 rd to a friend because he miss it by 5 minuets and the box of 9mm to my boss at work so to stay on his good side.
Every thing else is for me, I can hardly believe it my self.

I bought a gun from a mom and pop shop the other day, The gun was priced just a little high but ammo LOL OMG!!!!!!!!!
40 sw 50 rd box of steel $39.99, 9mm 50 rd box of steel $39.99, 223 20 rd box of steel $25 list goes on and on.... I spent over $300 on a little 22lr pistol and even then they would not even budge a little on ammo prices.
Same here...My LGS selling the 9mm for $39.99. No way I'll going to pay that amount. With Walmart its been a hit or miss. Its been mostly misses. I just sent out an all out bulletin to all family members. If your in Walmart check for 9mm ammo before you shop.
Haven't seen any change here.. Dad said he was at Bass Pro and Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday and they had NONE... But they both had more guns on display then they did the last time.. Too bad you can't shoot em :D
Your not going to see it on the shelf, it is sold out of the cart before it can be stocked. I use the wally app and I know what time it comes out of the back room.

TOTAL INSANITY
Just left a local Wal Mart after splitting the last 10 50-round boxes of 22LR with another customer. Sales clerk said he almost tripped over them in the stock room after having told dozens of customers they were out.
And so it simply proves that in this panic, we'll (not all of us and certainly not me) pay any amount to get ammo and buy, buy, buy just to get it which is why it can't be found and when it is found is so expensive. At a small LGS today the owner told me he gets 22lr Tuesdays & Wednesday and it goes in a few hours. He sells it (CCI) for $40/brick. He said last week he got a shippment of 168,000 rounds for reasons he still can't figure out. He dead-panned saying "THAT took me a day and a half to get rid of". That's 336 bricks boys and I live in Dogpatch, USA. I hear tell that $40 is the normal price for that ammo but I am used to the Federal bricks for $20 so that is what I will wait for. BTW, a guy came in for small rifle primers and he got 1,000 CCI for $44. Don't know if that is normal as I don't YET re-load. He had plenty of it.
Well, I went on a $300 ammo shopping spree for a friend this am. Four Walmarts an Academy and Gebo's a local farm and ranch store.

First Walmart had a decent shipment, but I was one too deep in line to score the holy grail (1,000 rounds of .22 Winchester bulk) and the center fire pistol calibers were gone). On to the next Walmart, no shipment, nada. On to Academy, 75 rounds of Remington 00 buckshot (no limits on shotgun shells) big score of the day, 50 rounds of .223 Hornady pointed soft point (I have shot this and it is accurate), 50 rounds of 45 acp Win. JHP and 50 rounds of 357 mag., Priva Partisan (3 box limit, one per caliber), then to two more Walmarts, scored three 100 round boxes of .22 shorts, CB rounds, and then to Gebos for one box of 30-30 Leverlution, one box of 20 PMC .223 and a box of 50 standard velocity CCI round nose unplated .22 LR.

Stopped by the house, changed shirts, and cap. Put on adifferent pair of sun glasses and went back to Academy hopeful of scoring another box of Hornady .223 50 count, but it was gone. So, I took 20 rounds of .308 fusion 180 grain, 20 rounds of Monarch steel cased .223 fmj and 50 rounds of .40 cal Winchester as the .45 acp was gone gone.

I also got a $12.97 ammo box to keep my friend's stash in on future trips and recommended he let me buy .50 cal ammo boxes to segregate his calibers if he wants me to custom buy for him in the future. I expect he will give me a $1,000 budget next week.

I do need to remember to take a vastly different colored shirt next week as well as a 2nd cap and stop by the costume place to get a fake beard and mustache just in case I find some Holy Grail ammo deals! :)

Splendid Idea, Old Chap! I forgot the Klinger ruse!
Luck of the draw. Try 6:30 am while they are stocking. If you are not there when they open the box you will miss out.

That's not the worst I have seen, one site had 525 rounds for $249.95 !!!! I hope they stub their toe as the walk past it in their warehouse.... But lets be real, some [email protected] probably bought 3 boxes and bragged that he now has 1500+ rounds
