I hear this quite often "You packin heat"? "Got the old roscoe" ? Do people watch too much of the old movies? These are remarks from some that know I carry. I usually reply "Yes" not sure what else to say. Any suggestions?

If anyone asks me if I am carrying I tell them "no".
I don't care how they phrase it the answer is still no.
I am the only one who needs to know if I am carrying.

I always say: " I don't know....... but there's an easy way to find out."

That's the whole point of concealed carry - your'e not supposed to know.

I've never been asked if I'm carrying. I have been asked under certain circumstances, if I have my gun.

The only person who ever asks is my GF, typically when she's hoping the answer is yes. She has some cute ways of phrasing the question, like most everything she does.

YOT I guess quite often is really now and then. I also open carry on my farm. What I really meant is why do people have to call it Heat, Roscoe or something like that.

When I ask her that, it means something different entirely.
