Vedder Holsters.

I've been wanting to get one of these for my Sig Sauer P290rs for a while but just hadn't gotten around to it.

Well last Saturday I placed my order and saved 10% for Presidents Day. They are made to order so I was expecting it to take a little longer. But they made it on Monday, mailed it on Tuesday and I got it today. Really pretty happy with the time it took to get it.

This model is called the "Lighttuck" and it is pretty light. It can be used for AIWB carry or anywhere else you're comfortable carrying. Personally I like 3:30. It is adjustable for carry depth and angle. I'm just working around the house today so I won't get a chance to wear it until tomorrow.

It looks really solid and well made...I like the trigger coverage.
You know you can wear it around the house, too. Get used to wearing it before going out so you become aware of a "tell" like constantly touching it.

I have one also. I chose it because it's adjustable both vertically and butt angle. You can wear it at 11:00 cross-draw or appendix or behind the "love handle". Very versatile.

Yeah, but wearing it around the house would mean getting "dressed". This time of year when I'm working on the yard or pretty much any other thing I'm doing I'm doing it in sweat pants.

I did wind up going out for dinner last night so I did wear it for about an hour. Very comfortable but I'm going to have to play with the cant to get it where I like it.

I've had single clip IWB holsters before, although none with a clip which is that wide. The issue I had with the ones that I had (still have a deSantis for the TCP) is that regardless of how I set the cant, it would move the belt clip to an angle where the pistol was at a vertical. I prefer a forward cant and now favor the two clip IWB holsters.
They also offer military discount. Coupon code VHSALUTESYOU at checkout.

Interesting. I seemed to have a little of the opposite. I set the cant a little more forward on the holster and it seem to auto adjust even more forward. I will adjust the cant back a little and see how that works.

Over all though I'm very happy with it after my first day out and about with it. Hardly noticed it was there. Though I don't think I would like this type of holster for my "larger" carry gun. Also on my permit is my Smith 908. I carry that one in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0. For that size gun I don't think I would like a single clip holster.

I carry a Glock 23 in one at 1o'clock appendix position. I like it quite a bit. I have worn it at 3 o'clock with a dress shirt and tie for a wedding with no issues.
