I'm not sure that someone who is currently active could be barred from re-enlistment without getting an ADA challenge.

So, why would the Military be afraid of allowing someone in that has been exposed to the Covid-19 and has survived it?

Do they know something about this supposedly random virus from nature that is running rampant? Something they are not telling us perhaps?

According to some, work on the Coronavirus was done in two American Labs and not just the one in China. One of those Labs is at Fort Detrick Maryland.

Imagine that.

Boy.......I'd really like to say that this makes absolutely no sense but the fact that it's the military and it doesn't make sense, it actually makes sense.

This is most likely temporary until they know more about it.

Covid-19 attacks the body in more ways than any other disease (according to doctors). There are a number of disabilities it causes even in young people that don't kill but does result in lingering (and sometimes lifelong) health degradation. A good proportion of young survivors wind up with continuing reduced lung capacity, vascular issues, kidney issues, et cetera.

The military is going to want more of a handle on those issues before bringing in people that they're either going to medically discharge or medically retire.
