I would like to know if the end of the recoil spring has been improved so it won't dig into the front of the slide, as the original ones will do.

This is the section I'm talking about, it's not ground down, away from the front, and the sharp edge digs into the slide, shaving off metal.
Still looks sharp on the Lakeline spring pictured here.
