I have a new 809C. Most shots now, particularly when slow firing, the trigger stays to the rearward position, not resetting. I have to deploy the hammer drop lever a bit to get the trigger to release and go forward for the next shot. Anyone have this happen? Any suggested diagnosis or fixes? Bummer. Thanks. Joe.

Check for dirt in the depression between the takedown whatchamacallit and the frame feed ramp. The trigger bar might get hung up if there is dirt or unburned powder there. To fix my problem, I shot Gunscrubber from the trigger bar side out. Hope this helps.

P.S. I'm talking about parts 4.11 and 4.13 in the manual.

Sounds like a cleaning issue for starters. Like andreew said, get the Gun Scrubber flowing. Use the little straw to get in every nook and cranny, if you're not comfortable with a complete take down. If you didn't get all the packing grease out before the first shots, it'll be even harder now that its been baked with GSR.
