what loads have you all used in your 4" 357 trackers? i know some ammo does better in different weapons. just trying to see if there is one thats does better than most of the others. with ammo up as high as it is its hard to experiment like i used too.
Granted my Tracker has the 6" tube instead of the 4" but that aside, I mostly use S&B 158 gr. FMC fodder and also
have a supply of CCI Blazer 158 gr. SJHC ammo as well. Are you primarily interested in ammo just for plinking?
yeah for the most part just plinking. i tried some 158gr magtech FMJ and 158gr S&B FMJ and i had to move the rear sight to the left about 6-8 clicks just to get it in the black at 25 yards. i was firing off a table with my hand under the grip. all i could manage was about a 3" at that range. next time i plan on bringing a rifle rest and a good sand bag to really bring the zero in. what kind of groups are you getting at 25yds?
