I think its a neat idea but unless you already have a rifle in that caliber, 22 rounds are cheaper and likely easier to find.

But I am seeing them cheap some places.

I have a Henry Varmint Express in .17 and always have ammo. I thought it would be fun to have the revolver in the same caliber.

Been thinkin' about getting a .22/.22mag single action myself. Heritages are cheap and they have a bird's head model that's pretty neat. I got a .22 mag rifle a few months ago and have the ammo around. I don't know what it'd be useful for, though, really. A Ruger Bearcat would be REALLY neat, compact, but they ain't cheap for a toy. The Heritages have a good rep. I had a Hawes when I was a kid, sold it.
