I saw a special online with a rebate for a GX2 for $199 over the weekend at smga.com, and since I have been wanting a 9mm I decided to go for it. Since I have been seeing and hearing mostly good things, and the price point was a steal, I couldn't resist. I'll keep ya folks updated once it gets here.

That is a great price on a GX2. I just got back from the range, shot 100 rounds of 124 GR, no issues.
The only issue I have had so far with mine in just over 700 rounds was a few fail to feed episodes. I found a very slight wire edge on the feed ramp, touched it up with some 2000 grit wet dry sand paper followed by polishing it with a good metal polish, no more issue since then.

Brought the GX2 home this weekend, cleaned and lubricated it like a good boy, and took it out to the range for 50 rounds o'fun. I only had one FTF, another issue was the trigger seemed stiff and the wall a lot harder than with my TX22. Being new to guns, and firing a 9mm for the first time, it may just be my unfamiliarity with firing one. Other than that, even though it looked like I had the target dead to rights, my shots mostly ended up as you can see, down and to the left. The ones to the right of center were when I adjusted my aiming a bit off of center. I'll take the blame and I could be squeezing the trigger or pulling to the left, regardless, feedback is appreciated.

Looking at your target, I would say slow down, focus on your sight picture and work on your grip. Low and left groups come from squeezing the grip while pressing the trigger. See if you can get some instruction. A good instructor will help you a lot. Dry firing the pistol frequently will help also you indentify the problem with you grip.

I think you'll like it! I had a minor failure to feed issue, easily corrected and now it's a slick shooter!

Taurus really deserves kudos for the GX2. It's well fitted, doesn't peen the barrel hood and slide like my Ruger, doesn't rattle like a bag of cans when you shake it like my M&P that cost twice as much. It makes you consider what you spend your money on.
