I bought the G2 SS for myself a while back. While I have shot it before. I never had the SS recoil spring in the SS GS.I had used it in my old PT-111 pro. Ran like a top, put 100 rounds down range and no problems at all. Can't remember the manufactuer but it was not Lakeline. This sure shoots better than the one I bought in 2013 and it was not SS.
