went to a gravel pond with a friend(who has access/permission) to shoot sunday afternoon

150 rounds through the pt111 with only one issue, spent casing got stuck in the 'stovepipe'? I think my friend called it.

had a good time, besides that one issue she shot great, albeit low and slightly to the left of the sights.......

was shooting regular old 115 gr winchester and remington plinking ammo

thats alot to read through thanks!

I'll dig into it tomorrow night hopefully.

My friend with access to the space was trained at the Police Training Institute for basics and as an instructor so hes a great shooting partner, he gave me alot of tips and feedback and agreed that it was the gun that was a bit off and not just me :)

i may have been worse than him but its hard to tell when shooting at logs instead of targets.

it was the first rounds I ever put through that gun, and I havent put many through any other pistols before!

hopefully it comes down to alot of practice makes perfect

I do like the pt111

although, I shot a bereta 92 and an older hk 9mm as well and loved them

the reduced recoil on them was really nice but of course, they are much larger pistols
