Todays match

Yes I know I have no skills but I sure do have a lot of fun!!

Todays sub-gun match was as much fun as usual! It is kind of them to let us lowly little semi-auto guys come and play too! This match is a great excuse to run a bunch of ammo through my Beretta CX-4 PCC. I didn't keep a round count but the ammo box was definitely lighter at the end of the day.

Nice shooting! What is the first distance you shot from, 50 yds?

Yes it's 50 yds. maybe just a touch farther but not much. I know they have been doing a lot of work lately and made the bays deeper.

Good for you darbo, they do a swell job there. And some nice shooting on your end, you get along well with your CX4. Thx for sharing.

Just a side note. In that first stage and third where I was moving up range...count on it, the muzzle was pointed down range! I hate watching people try to walk fast backwards under those circumstances. It's very easy and much safer to simply take the stock off your shoulder and position the rifle so the muzzle is pointing down range.
Looks fun.

It is a ton of fun! If you ever have time and want to check it out you can shoot nothing but steel 2 days in a row. The 1st Saturday is US Steel Challenge and the 1st Sunday is the sub-gun match. Lots of dinging going on that weekend!

You did a fine job of it! I'd be spinning around trying to figure out what to shoot next. Maybe they could they give me a map?
