Yes, its been my experience on revolver cartridges to use some type of roll crimp, a lite load like you are using doesn't need a tack weld to make it work...but give it some crimp.
A crimp keeps the other bullets from moving out of the brass on recoil.
The larger loads, especially magnum status require a heavy roll crimp.
On semi-auto pistol cartridges, which I don't do much of...require what is called a bevel or taper crimp...at least I think that's what its called. My memory isn't what it use to be.
