I don't get it. I'm not a fan of the latest generation of Taurus and vastly prefer the older models. I have some serious love for the older style 65's and 66's in particular, but those aren't the only ones. So when I see the mother ship homeland website listed... I thought it was worth burning some time giving a look see.

And low and behold I see this listed for a Model 66:

TAURUS ARMAS - Revolver RT-66, 357 Magnum, 6 tiros, Uso: Policia, Atirador, Colecionador, Forcas Armadas

And yet all we can have is this:

Taurus International Manufacturing Inc

What gives??? I thought the older stuff was out of production. But there it is plain as day unless my no reading the Spanish (wait... Portuguese??? Maybe??? It is Brazil, I forget what they speak...) eyeballs aren't seeing the word "discontinued" on there somewhere...

And what is this and why do I wish I could buy one???

TAURUS ARMAS - Revolver RT-88, 380 SPL, 6 tiros, Uso: Civil, Policia, Forcas Armadas, Atirador, Colecionador, Magistrado

And where can I buy these PT100 .40SW mags???

And last but not least, tell me this kind of Sig looking rifle doesn't scream .40SW fun at the range!!!

And now I suppose you are going to tell me that they still make the Rossi 720, but won't bring it here! Love that CT40 by the way! You know, it's often like that with companies. They only bring in what they think they can sell. As a motorcyclist, I and others often lament that the cool bikes you see in Japan and Europe don't make their way here. Try sending a letter to Taurus though -- you just never know what will happen!
