I haven't had any issue with my G3 and im fairly rough on it. I love the way it shoots and how thin it is for appendix carry.
I started with night sights, tritium pro low height and a sandpaper grip texture from Houge.

I polished the feed ramp and sanded smooth the leading edge (it seemed a tad sharp for hollow points). now it has more of a rolling edge

I also polished the indented portion of the frame and polished the rails

On a side note, I recently started using Lucas gun oil and Im absolutely shocked at the improvement in performance just from switching from "the orange bottle"

started with a sandpaper polishing attachment, then moved to a cotton wheel with some compound, finished off with dry cotton wheel. Used a battery drill, i dont have any dremmel type tool. Leaves the metal smooth as glass.
Rails were done with straight sandpaper and light oil by hand.
Leading edge of feed ramp had a slight burr so i actually had to file the shape i wanted before sanding
