OK so I'l not the brightest tool in the shed.
Heck I'm not even the sharpest bulb on the shelf.
But this Yahoo article let me know there are even dumber people than I.

Make your own toilet bowl cleaner.
Homemade Toilet Bowl Cleaner | POPSUGAR Smart Living

Yea I know. Petty at the least and cheap at the most.
But look at the ingredients.
1/2 cup baking soda
1/4 cup liquid castile soap (like we have that on the shelf)
10 drops essential oil (You gonna sniff your bowl?)
1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
1 cup hot water
1/4 cup vinegar

Did you catch the problem?
I thought you had to go to college to get jobs in the publishing field.
We went over this in high school.
If you mix vinegar with baking soda they fiz themselves into neutral.
Also if you allow light to get to hydrogen peroxide after a week it's neutral too.
So you end up with soapy water with a few smelly drops for when you dip your head below the seat.
Somebody hit the flush handle on these people.

If you dump ingredients straight into the bowl, they will fizz the crap right off the sides. Don't mix and store quantities of it.

The best way to keep your bowl clean is don't let anyone use it , and go use your neighbores toilet . However you still have to worry about sewer backup .........

If you look at the quantities you will note that this recipe is for a single use. (Not so cheap). Shelf life not the problem.
