First time i've heard about the recall and class action suit, when did all of this happen?
I recently purchased the g2c and hope my gun doesn't have whatever issues were going on with the other guns, seeing as the g2c is basically the pt111.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, please move the post and inform me if it's not.

Thanks for any and all feedback about this matter.

The G2C is the replacement for the recalled guns. You should have no issues. This has been going on for something like three years. The G2's are actually pretty different from the older PT 111.

The only way you can tell for sure is to buy a box of blanks, rack one into the chamber, walk into your garage and start throwing the pistol onto the floor. The harder the better. If you don't hear a bang after 100 tosses, you're good to go. (You know I'm just kidding here, right?)

As long as the semi auto Taurus pistols say "G2, Th, or G3" on them, you won't have a problem. The recall also didn't apply to the PT92 series of pistols, 700 series, or to Taurus revolvers.

I believe the PT-745 was included in the settlement/recall. It seems to share more kinship with the Millennium Pro series than the 738's or 709's but it is still in the 700 range. It seems the 700 numbers are haphazardly applied, as neither the 745, nor the 738 (732) nor the 709 (708, 740) have much in common.

I believe somewhere on this board is a thread with a link to the official settlement web page. That should confirm or disprove my recollection of the 745 (assuming that settlement web page is authoritative).
