I took my little Walther PPK/S .22 to the range the other day. Next door to me was a guy with a .44 magnum Ruger. He would blast away, then his sons would take turns doing the same.
I loaded up the PPK and as the .44 was booming beside me, pulled the trigger.
"Click."
I pulled the trigger again.
Another distinct "Click."
Racked it, tried the next round.
"Click."
I could hear the click over the booms.
Son of a gun, whoever made up that saying was right.
Culprit was a bad batch of Winchester SuperX.
