New Taurus TX9,,,,,Looks like a sturdy 9mm at an affordable price, basically, just a modular, striker version of the Taurus TH9, which was a weak seller.
But, I think Ruger has already beat them to the punch here with the RXM. A Gen 3 Glock clone that takes Glock's double stack magazines and shares a striker assembly that's interchangeable. Also,The RXM just looks better.
Both the TH9, the TX9 looks like something Hi-Point would dream up. Not real appealing.

And the Ruger RXM is at the same price point as the new Taurus TX9.
$499 MSRP, $409 at Bass Pro Shops. The RXM picks up where Glock left off.

The Taurus TX9 and TX9C will likely fall into the dust bind of the Budget 9mm pistols, An ugly version of the G3 and G3C ... I don't think the TX9 is going to make any big impact in the 9mm pistol market.... It's too little, too late.

Ruger RXM, Better.

As far as the TX9 goes, I don't really see much resemblance to a Hi-Point:

But the TX9 does kind of remind me of the PSA Dagger:

And FWIW, that Ruger looks something like the Anderson Kiger 9C, except for the goofy Kiger trigger guard:

I agree, the Ruger RXM looks better to me (in part because of the traditional trigger guard ;^)...

Well, judging a gun's aesthetics varies from one man to the next. Kind of like judging taste in women.
There's a broad spectrum, and like the old saying goes, "There's something for everyone"..... 😊----😬----🤮

I feel like Taurus did a great job on the G3C, taurus should be focusing on working out the bugs on the G3C and make it more of a heavy duty performance gun. The G3C was the number one selling 9mm last year, tweeking it to up it's reliability and different ammo acceptance will just sell more.
