New Taurus TX9,,,,,Looks like a sturdy 9mm at an affordable price, basically, just a modular, striker version of the Taurus TH9, which was a weak seller.Taurus TX9 Full Size 9mm 4.5" Barrel 17rd Semi-Auto Pistol, Optics Ready - Modular Chassis System Listed on Classic Firearms ?![]()
As far as the TX9 goes, I don't really see much resemblance to a Hi-Point:

But the TX9 does kind of remind me of the PSA Dagger:

And FWIW, that Ruger looks something like the Anderson Kiger 9C, except for the goofy Kiger trigger guard:

I agree, the Ruger RXM looks better to me (in part because of the traditional trigger guard ;^)...
Well, judging a gun's aesthetics varies from one man to the next. Kind of like judging taste in women. As far as the TX9 goes, I don't really see much resemblance to a Hi-Point:

I feel like Taurus did a great job on the G3C, taurus should be focusing on working out the bugs on the G3C and make it more of a heavy duty performance gun. The G3C was the number one selling 9mm last year, tweeking it to up it's reliability and different ammo acceptance will just sell more.As far as the TX9 goes, I don't really see much resemblance to a Hi-Point:
