Hello all,
looking at 44 cal Ragin Bull and was wondering the throat size on these revolvers. The reason that I ask is just bought a Rossi/Taurus Circuit Judge 44 mag and the Throat is so large you can put a fully loaded 44 mag round into the cone all the way up the head on the case.. Needless to say accuracy is horrible in the CJ44.

Thanks....

I do not know about the ones made in the past few years, have not checked one. The older 44's checked with a set of pins ran .429 to .431. Averaged .430 and usually were uniform from chamber to chamber. Before buying any revolver I would check throats and forcing cone and chamber/barrel alignment. I would send the other back for a new cylinder. That is way too large.
