Hope some one can be of assistance.

I am from South Africa and own a PT911 and I need to replace my front sight. None of the dealers in SA can assist me.

Does any one know where I can buy/obtain new sights or recommend alternative/aftermarket sight.

The problem is that the Taurus 911 has not been offered here in the USA for many years and parts would or are impossible to find. Maybe one of the listed distributors can help you.

How does the front blade secure to the slide? I replaced the front sight of my PT 111 G2 with a Universal Fiber Optic shotgun sight. Lakeline sells one for the G2 also...there's a screw that fastens upwards from the interior top of the slide.

Yes, mine also has a screw from inside the slide upwards.
